Stem Presentations Senior Infants

We took turns presenting our STEM creations to the class. We explained what materials we used, how we constructed the houses and how we would try to keep the Big Bad Wolf out.

STEAM - Senior Infants

We designed and constructed houses using lollipop sticks and card. Then we painted them. We are very proud of our colourful creations.

S.T.E.M Activity 2018 (Engineering 6th Class)

We worked together to build bridges using paper, books and coins. We used the coins to test how strong our bridges were. We worked as engineers!

Building Bridges 2018 (Engineering 6th Class)

We used our experience from last week's Science lesson to use straws, card and other materials to build stronger bridges. 

K'Nex Workshop for Science week 2018 (Engineering 6th)

It is Science week. Tara came to do a K'Nex workshop with the 2nd to 6th class today. We worked in small groups to create a windmill, car, lawnmower and other structures using the K'Nex pieces. Tara was very impressed with us and she said we could put our own spin on the structures. We were fantastic.
